Margery Attwater (Mosher)

She was known as Alison when she was at Northfield.  I remember her voice and her presence in many of my classes, but the memory that sticks in my mind is her colonial tri-corner hat!  I am sorry our class has lost her.

She was from my home town of Pelham Manor, New York. I didn't know her well there but she seemed very intelligent and creative.

From Ray Webster -- we were in the play "The Diary of Anne Frank" -- I played Anne Frank's father, and Alison as she was then was Anne Frank's mother. She broke her leg just before the performance, and someone found a 1940s wheelchair that she could use on stage (of course, throwing off every move on the already cramped set which of course was supposed to be an attic).

We were asked to repeat the play later (I think in the winter) for an alum gathering in Stone Hall on the Northfield Campus -- the sets had been torn down and we did the already pretty stark play in a very stark setting. Very moving.
